Re: Greetings!
!! That's right. You commented on Chances! *feels embarrassed* That be old stuff, that be...

It's being revamped currently into an "I'm older now and can definitely write a lot better" version - you know - in case you're interested. You got your ff.net profile listed somewhere here? I'd love to read your Laby stories. . . maybe when I come back from boot camp in about 9 weeks. ^.^()

Re: Greetings!
Boot camp! Woo hoo!! My sis did all that when she joined the Navy.

I sure am over at ff.net. In fact I need to post a new chappie today. You can find me under Westendwordsmith and I think there is a link in my profile. I'll have to check out your "new" version. I'm sure it's wonderful.

Re: Greetings!
Hooray! Althought what's pretty funny is that the link "ff.net" automatically sent me to a place called "FantasyFacts" instead of Fanfiction.net. Interesting, ne?

I have added your FF.net profile to my favorite authors list. As I said, my reading will have to be after boot camp. But wow! Your sister joined the Navy? (*is also in the Navy*) I hope she likes it? Was boot camp hard for her?

The "new" version of my story is a WIP, but there's a lot of content already posted. I do warn you that it is mostly fluff, written to entertain the authors with torturing characters. The link to it is on my website. It's called "NeoGenesis" (as if THAT doesn't sound pretentious or anything...)

Re: Greetings!
Yeah, my sis really loved the Navy until 9/11. She was working at the Pentagon and while fortunately she wasn't there for the actual attack she worked in the med staff and saw a lot she wished she hadn't. Boot camp was a breeze. Basic Training was a little harder, mostly because my sis isn't one to "poo in public" as she delicately puts it. When do you start camp?

*Runs off to book mark fluffy pretentious new title* Can't wait to give this a read!!! Hope you enjoy Laby when you get to it. It's a little long, but I'm fond of it. The one I'm working on now doesn't seem to be any shorter, but it's been even more fun to write. Can't wait to start the one for QL....so many good things in store for that EPIC. Make sure to drop me a line and let me know how you feel about it.

Wow, if your sister worked in the medical department during 9/11 - I can imagine how that would change one's perspective. It may have changed mine too. As for pooing in public (as I imagine the toilets are not partitioned like in civilian life) . . . I don't think that'll be a problem for me. Not with other girls. I grew up in a house of four, all girls, including my mom. We did all that stuff in front of each other without blinking. It could be a latin thing, though I'm not sure. I leave next week! On the 10th. *eep!*

Boy, we know all about epics, don't we!? I can't wait to read your Laby fic. I'm sure the length won't deter me once I find the time to just sit down and read again without running around like a headless chicken. My petentious fluffy fic is already 2000+ pages (a lot of it still not public) and will not end for . . . a while. And it's all about Al, mostly. And Sam, too, but mostly Al, and mostly their kids. Lots of stuff happens. heh.

Yay, stuff!

Re: *pounce!*
Well, in basic she had to go on manuevers and they were out in nature for several days. She had to dig a hole and do her business in that and then cover it up and because of when she signed up she was in a co-ed squad. So I'll be hoping you don't wind up in that situation! I'm going to be visiting family starting on the 5th for Easter holiday, so if I don't talk to you before you leave for camp, GOOD LUCK!!! and I will be thinking of you.

I'm excited to read Neo-Genesis. I love a well written Al and while I suppose my writing tends to be a little more Sam-centered, I think Al is a great character who had so much room to take on so many dimensions post MI. I'm sure by the time you get back I'll have digested some of your epic. It'll be great talking about writing with you I'm sure.
